Please steer clear of Mr Carlin. Because I applied for legal aid just before my court date and it had not been processed and because I had only put his name and not the practices other lawyer (no where does it state this anywhere) on my legal aid application, Mr Carlin stood in front of the magistrate and refused to have me as a client. It was the most unprofessional and highly detrimental action any solicitor could take in a court room for zero reason.
At the time of this I am sitting outside the courtroom waiting for the magistrate to decide whether to revoke my bail and remand me because I don’t have legal representation finalised.
Mr Carlin has obviously been caught in an extramarital relationship, lost all his assets and needs the $20 legal aid client payment to catch an Uber home. Obviously misdirecting his anger out on the clients he swore to defend OR this is the most incompetent excuse for a legal professional the profession has ever seen.
