I recently received a hynotherapy service with Carol and can't rate the experience highly enough. My therapy was to assist me to make healthier decisions around fueling my body as part of an overall fitness and health journey I'm undertaking. The treatment was specifically around choosing not to eat 'junk' or consume alcohol. I really appreciated that the session Carol created for me was tailored for me through her careful questions about what outcome I wanted and not just a one size fits all treatment. Prior to starting, Carol made me feel very secure and clearly explained what would happen during the hypnosis so I had no anxiety and was able to relax quickly and fully with her. I felt safe and comfortable during treatment and confident that I would be able to come out of the session if that changed at any time. The session itself was really comfortable and energising... actually I was surprised how energised I felt following treatment! There weren't any magic lightbulbs after the session, but what I have noticed is that I'm much more conscious of my food and alcohol choices since then. It's like my subconscious has come to the surface and is allowing me to stop and think before I put something not of value to my body in it! I've also noticed that my cravings for junk food have decreased and I look at those foods now as something a really don't desire to eat. I could have them, but I dont want them and don't feel I'm missing out by not having them. I'll definitely be attending followups to help cement the initial consultation, and would really recommend Carol to anyone looking to break unconscious habits that are affecting their wellbeing.

I took my 8 year old son to visit Carol for Hypnotherapy to help him to stop sucking his thumb. I could not speak highly enough of Carol and her skills in Hypnotherapy! Charlie leant heavily on thumb sucking to soothe himself in unfamiliar circumstances or when he was feeling worried or tired and also to go to sleep at night. After just one session with Carol he stopped completely! He had one follow up session and has continued not to suck his thumb. Carol is such a warm, caring person who instantly made me feel extremely comfortable and reassured. And most importantly, Charlie loved her. I can't thank Carol enough for giving Charlie the tools to get on top of a habit that he was becoming embarrassed of, not to mention the costs she has potentially saved us on dental bills!
