Carpenter Court Aged Care Centre - Merewether, New South Wales

It is always with mixed emotions choosing a Care home for a parent but I have found Carpenter Court Aged Care in Merewether a wonderful choice for my Mum Edna. The staff are so kind and friendly creating a homely environment celebrating all major calendar holidays. They involve residents in happy participation with arts and crafts and photographs shared with families of their loved ones experiences in the Carpenter Court newsletters.
The stunning views and sounds of Merewether beach right across the road a definite plus for a walk in the sunshine and for some a dip in the pool.
Singalongs with frequent entertainers always have me shedding tears with happy family times remembered. The recent piano recitals from the lovely Lucinda Thomas, a head staff member of the Carpenter Court family has Mum leaving what she’s doing to sit beside her to listen while she plays.
Our family live close by and can visit often and knowing Mum is in loving capable hands helps with these transitional years.

This place is one of the best places I've seen. Lovely rooms amazing views and lovely staff!!!

I'm very happy with the care that my Dad receives at Carpenter Court. The staff are so respectful and caring, I really feel like they treat him like their own family member. Doris does a wonderful job of running the place.
