I recently had CBRE Canberra come to evaluate my property for a refinance. On 06/02/24, one woman arrived to assess my property. However, she only spent five minutes inside and presented a floor plan that clearly did not match my home. When questioned, she insisted it was accurate and mentioned evaluating the property in 2018. This discrepancy was alarming, as she even asked about a non-existent third bedroom when my house only has two.

Her inaccurate assessment led to a significant reduction of 20% in the property's value according to my broker. This is shocking considering the consistent rise in property prices and my efforts to maintain and renovate the property over the years. It is evident that the valuation provided by CBRE was far below the actual value of the property, impacting the loan amount significantly. Beware of such unprofessional assessments, as they can greatly affect financial decisions.

I strongly advise seeking out more reliable and competent professionals for property valuation.

Worst Valuation Company Ever!
They value a 2 bedroom 1 bath unit in Bel at $435,000 (full val) and state it as 1 bedroom apartment while I got a NAB Kerbside valuation at $510k.

Terrible terrible terrible. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a valuer and I've met many. The guy that came, starts with a K or C or something was unprofessional and careless in his valuation. Hardly stayed for 2 minutes rushing through, then undervalued our property by over $60k. If I could give you and CBRE 0 stars I'd give 5 of them.

Worst residential valuation company in Canberra - they lack the professional skills required to properly complete residential valuations in the ACT - they do not properly communicate with borrowers, lenders and brokers and fail to deliver valuations within acceptable time frames - if your lender uses CBRE as valuers, immediately demand a different valuation company to avoid frustration and uselessness.

Worst management team ever. Poor communication and threaten tenants, trying to rip off rather than helping
