We have used Chek Air twice now and both experiences have been great.

The first job they did was a supply and install of a new AC split system. The director, Jill, came out to our house to provide a quote. She was very friendly and informative and it was clear she has been in this business a long time. Her team sent through the quote quicker than anticipated and the price was very reasonable. Her team were punctual and efficient in completing the install.

While they were here installing the split system, I requested another quote to install some exhaust fans and a new power point outside. The quote Chek Air provided was 2-3 times cheaper than another provider we were previously quoted by.

The other electrical provider quoted a ridiculous amount, advising we needed to upgrade our electric box (even though it was done last year). I asked the Chek Air electrician about this and she confirmed the electric box was in great order and did not need to be upgraded.

In my opinion Chek Air are trustworthy, great at what they do, fairly priced, and I wouldn't go anywhere else now. I'm about to get them back for a third job and I have recommended them to some friends in the area.

Chek Air from start to finish were extremely professional, helpful and honest. Jill did a great job at assessing our home and needs - given we have asbestos we went with split systems throughout the house. She was very thoughtful about how things would look, as we had a couple of rooms that needed to have piping through cupboards/one on the internal wall. She tried to give options not only for the best value and quality, but also consideration for how things would look aesthetically. The only thing we would say is that the quoting system is a little messy and could be better which is feedback we have given to Chek Air. However, they gave us a fair price which was competitive with other quotes, and were efficient in getting the installation process happening. The team that came over two days did an excellent job, and kept consulting us on how we wanted things to look when it came to placement of some of the external piping and also for all the remote wall mounts. They were all extremely professional, respectful and efficient. We highly recommend Chek Air!

I have had Chek Air & Electrical install 3 split systems on my home on 3 separate occasions this year after the Gree ones that came with my house died after only 7 years of service. Chek were very friendly and professional throughout and provided very competitive quotes in an efficient manner, as well as sensible advice on how to proceed. They helped me troubleshoot the broken unit(s) and when it became clear a replacement was the most sensible choice, they installed a lovely Mitsubishi HI unit to a very high standard.

They did such a good job I asked them to figure out if they could install a unit in my study that had complex wall geometry - an electrician had previously told me it was not possible but Chek found a way and did an extremely neat job.

Not long after my other Gree died so just a week later I had them install a replacement Mitsubishi in my master bedroom, which was also done with the same professionalism.

I cannot recommend them enough, if you live in the Ipswich area and need a trustworthy and high quality air conditioner installer, go with Chek.

Recently had our 3 units serviced and cleaned by Chek. They did an excellent job and were honest enough to advise that one of the units that doesn’t get used as much didn’t need a chemical clean, only a service. Really appreciate the honesty as it sometimes rare these days.
