We had a fantastic experience at Chesterfield Whisky Firm, where we were warmly served by Tony. His friendly demeanor, patience, and expertise made our visit truly enjoyable. We sampled two sets of tasting paddles, and Tony took the time to thoroughly explain the unique characteristics of each of the eight whiskies. We'll definitely return to Chesterfield if we're ever back in Adelaide.

What an amazing find! We were just looking for some food on our way to Barossa valley on a Dec 23 afternoon. And found the possibility of a pizza. When my wife returned to confirm that we will get pizza, but will have some time that we should use to try the whiskey, I could not believe our luck.
We had such a great half hour tasting some whiskey, bought some of them and then a nice hot pizza. The host was amazing and provided lots of context and recommendations for our time in Barossa.

One of our favourite tasting experiences in Australia. Christine was an absolutely amazing and charming hostess who made us buy a lot more alcohol than we planned to buy. The ranges of flavoured whiskeys and gins is truly staggering and there is something for everyone. We have also picked up a couple of flavoured honey jars which were absolutely unique and delicious.

A must see.

I am writing this review regarding the actual products produced by these guys. I have not been to their cellar door.
I discovered Chesterfield Whisky whilst visiting Hahndorf in South Australia at Grunds Gourmet (also an awesome place to score delicious condiments). I purchased the boxed sampler box "The Courtcase", which features 3 x 100ml bottles of Whisky cocktails. My husband literally swooned when he tried "The trial" and made the comment that he regretted sharing it with his friend so much, he said "I wished I could tip him upside-down and pour it back out of him". With that in mind I found these guys online and purchased a full sized bottle of The Trial and requested it to be posted to a hotel in Melbourne where it would be as a surprise birthday gift. Peter was an absolute pleasure to deal with after I ordered online but was a bit worried about the address being recorded properly in the system. He assured me he would contact the people packing everything and make sure it went to the right place.
The package was well done, no breakages and in an attractive wooden box with additional information about the profile of the drinks. **pics att for reference
I'm no Whisky drinker myself so rely upon other peoples reactions to gauge the quality of a drink. So far, swoon city. The Whisky is beautifully presented and reported to be "fantastic".

Lovely place to visit in Birdwood, they stock lots of local products, French cheeses, chocolate, plus wine, gin, whisky ( which you can sample) and make pizzas ready to take home and cook. Lots of other items to buy also. Staff are all really nice and welcoming, I've been there several times and always walk away having bought something 😊

I rang to organise whether they were open on Anzac Day. Deanna answered the phone and was amazingly helpful. I ended up attending on the day before Anzac Day and Kirilly was a fantastic help. This isn't my first time to this company and certainly won't be the last. Fantastic company, staff and products. Don't think about it do it, go and try. You will love it

I purchased a bottle of Maid Marian at the show. I was expecting the gold edition. When I contacted them on Facebook I received a reply almost immediately. They were so friendly and willing to help resolve the issue. I’m very pleased to say that as promised I received a brand new gold label bottle today. I can not recommend this local Adelaide company any more. Oh and the whisky is pretty awesome too! Thanks Deanne. You guys rock!
