Very comfortable motel! Beds super comfy and the room was really clean. The guest kitchen is fantastic and well equipped, so no need to eat out if you don't want to. Friendly owners. Will definitely stay again if I find myself in Childers again.

Modern bathroom, exceptionally clean rooms with comfortable beds. Lovely location with view, on-site parking, access to kitchen facilities onsite. Also a salt water pool which we never had time to use this time. Only metres from a 24hr servo with hot food after hours. |Highly recommended, wouldn’t hesitate in booking again

Spacious room with well equipped communal kitchen. Didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked inviting. 2 min walk to the service station which serves yummy country fries chicken if your a bit peckish! Managers were also very understanding when i had to cut my trip short and head home unexpectedly.

We stayed as a stopover on a long drive, and this motel surpassed our expectations. The lady at reception was lovely, the room was large, fresh, clean and comfortable, equipped with microwave, toaster and jug. Aircon worked well (and was silent), the queen- sized bed was super comfortable. The motel also has a guest kitchen (well-stocked), guest laundry, Individual numbered parking bays, and all ground floor rooms. Like all motels in Childers, it is located on the edge of the busy Bruce Highway. Trucks could be faintly heard throughout the night, but didn't bother us. Recommended. We would stay again.

My husband and I always choose to stay at Childers Gateway Motel on our way home from a trip down South. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the price is extremely reasonable. Everything is to a high standard - the beds are very comfortable, the rooms are impeccably clean and spacious and have everything that we need for our stay. The guest kitchen and laundry is an absolute bonus. We highly recommend this motel.

We arrived late at night just before reception closed, and the staff member was super helpful and welcoming. Our room was spotless, modern and very comfortable. We didn't hear any road noise at all and would definitely stay again. Good value for money also.
