They installed my TV through a deal with Harvey Norman. The technicians that came did an alright job, but had a bad attitude. It's just an installation of a TV on the wall, not rocket science. Harvey Norman should get installers with better attitudes that are not so rude.

Around 12 months ago I had spent $1000 on installing Starlink at my home. Unfortunately after a week I was receiving obstructions and dropouts. I decided to cancel my account. Fast forward 12 months and I received an email(below) from Starlink to jump back on board and take advantage of a free installation. I had recently removed a few trees and thought maybe now the obstructions are clear. I contacted the contractor Circl to arrange a technician to come and inspect. They ask me for a $59 deposit for them to be able to send someone out. I found this to be very unusual for a free install.

The technician who arrived was ironically the guy who installed the original. He suggested we move the dish 4 MTRS back and there's a good chance the reception will improve. Email reply attached shows a quote from Circl $549 to move the dish and they can give me $199 credit.

Circl claim that had no knowledge of the free installation promotion. So I happily forwarded the Starlink email.

I was told on several occasions I would receive a free install. Email below.

The technicians notes said free install.

Circl are now claiming :
* Free installs are ground based only- interesting considering it's a roof mounted dish
* Free promotion has now finished (28th Feb. Email below shows correspondence 25th Feb
* The $59 deposit was non refundable but now they are trying to get it to me within 10 days.

Agreed to install/mount my new TV on a date 2 weeks away then, a couple of days out, cancelled and said the earliest possible date was a further 17 days afterwards. In other words, there’s a wait time of 27 days for a relatively simple task like mounting a TV. Harvey Norman should look for a more reliable business partner.

Circl Group were engaged by our insurance company to do some insurance repair work on my house and I experienced poor organisation, poor communication, poor quality of work - some of the repairs had to be ripped up and redone they were so bad. A number of their sub contractors had to return multiple times to fix mistakes and errors. A terrible experience.
