It’s disappointing to see the Council consistently issuing fines to parents around the local school rather than addressing the actual parking issues. Instead of focusing on money, perhaps more effort could go into creating safer, more practical parking solutions for families. A more supportive approach would go a long way in helping the community.

this council fined me for parking in the street where the signs were obscured. When I appealed with photos they were not reasonable. Now they have sent a reminder which nearly doubled the fine because they allege it wasnt paid on time. I paid on time - they say not in system. In my opinion their 'system' is to extort from the people - the people should unite and demand the removal of the council

money hungry council, received a car park fine for dropping off kids to entertainment centre as safely as possible, wouldnt have been there more than 10 seconds and received an astronomical fine... cost of livings not hard enough - absolutely shameful. well done.

Most money hungry council I’ve ever had the displeasure of visiting. Had the misfortune of attending a wake for a dear friend at one of the mosques in the council, which had garnered lots of media attention and therefore the crowd was understandably large. Parking in the area is tight, and the carpark at the mosque was overflowing, so naturally people took every possible space to find a park. Little did we know that as we were mourning, a parking inspector was doing the rounds of nearby streets, issuing fines with gay abandon. Such a shame that the council wants to profit from others sorrow. I’ve suggested that all fines issued be negated, but the cold-hearted council have said no. Makes me wonder whether we need 3 tiers of government

Horrible and disgusting council. My son plays soccer on the St Clair Oval and I was issued a parking fine that was sent to my house two weeks after the date it actually happened - no infringement was left on my car at all. Of course, myself and many other people parked in this same spot the following week as there was NO SIGNAGE and we didn't receive any notice to not park here. So to receive this fine in the mail two weeks after it happened and then yes, they sent out ANOTHER fine for the next week two weeks later AGAIN. Absolutely disgusting behavior.

The Scentsory dog garden at Woodville is horrendous!
What's happened to "inclusiveness and accessible to all"? I couldn't even get inside the Woodville West garden with my 5mth old pup! The gates are so high and not accessible for disabled nor petite human beings!! Why do you have child safety gates on a sensory garden for starters
A lovely lady let us in as we were leaving, and it wasn't worth the embarassment of asking once we went inside.....
The ground cover so rough little dog pads find it uncomfortable to walk on, the planter tubs too high for small dogs, dead and dying rosemary and lavender the only scent! Both plants flower and attract bees.....ummm...dogs and bees don't mix well!
Seemed it'd not seen maintenance, water or care for a while!
CSC....you need to fix accessibility ASAP...it's wrong on all levels that it's not an inclusive space for ALL!
Thought a Council would know better🫤 very poor guys....

I normally detest councils. BUT CCS have excelled. Million percent better than city of West Toxic Torrens. I put a request in to mow overgrown verges around our area and the next day so much was done. Excellent communication.
Could be a fluke that it was already scheduled in BUT hey I’ll take it. They had so many guys onto it a full team. Dudes on ride on mowers, guys with edgers & the street sweeper following. Awesome work guys cheers. We used the Snap,Send, Solve app to report the issue. The best app ever.

We recently moved to the area and have had to deal with CSC through our builder regarding a double driveway due to having a double garage. Despite initial approval, the council later denied our request because of a tree blocking part of the space.

This decision has caused significant inconvenience. My partner and I work different shifts, and parking on the road has resulted in our cars being damaged twice. A single driveway is impractical for our home. We offered to relocate the tree and plant additional trees, but the council has been inflexible, even though the tree isn't thriving and is growing on a slant.

Allowing a double driveway would resolve our parking issues, enhance safety and accessibility, and improve our daily routines. We value our community’s green spaces and are willing to plant additional trees to balance relocating the existing one. However, the council has remained rigid, leaving us with no viable solution.

The council’s refusal to find a reasonable solution is extremely disheartening. A double driveway is essential for our home’s functionality, and their decision has left us feeling frustrated and unsupported in our community.
