As a new student to Australia I went into confirm my id and set up a bank account. Karen was really helpful and provided excellent service. She walked me through the process thoroughly and efficiently, helped me with my mobile banking and answered all my questions. Very friendly supporting staff as well!

Unprofessional foh staff, aggressive management. They send you over to utilise the atm facilities but they are always having an issue. I saw the manager today treated a poor senior gentleman disgustingly because the atm was playing up again. He was obviously upset and needed to be treated with respect not aggravating customers. This is a very poor standard bank with more than regular issues with they’re machines and they seem to blame or take it out on the customer

I received a notification on my CBA app requesting I go the nearest branch to confirm my address. I arrived at this branch office clearly before closing time. After arrival, a staff told me to take a seat and someone will attend to me shortly. I sat down and waited for about 5 mins. Suddenly, another person came up to me. Without even bothering to find out the reason for my visit, she abruptly told to leave and come back another day. I said, it will take only a minute or two just to confirm my address as requested by the Bank’s Head Office. She responded by saying she has two customers before me and she won’t have any time left to see me. I then requested to see the branch manager in order to try explain my visit, but she haughtily cut me off and replied she is the manager!
Feeling as if I am being bullied because I am an elderly customer, I noted her pair of piercing eyes and the threatening look on her face, I decided to leave and contact the bank’s Customer Service at the Head Office. As I left, I made a mental note of her name badge which read, “Chantel”.

Went to the branch today to set up a Travel Money Card. Was greeted well by a lovely lady who organised an appojtment for me within the hour. Returned to the branch an hour later and Karen assisted me with the TC set up. Karen was extremely polite and patient throughout the process, was very helpful, had a great attitude and took the time to explain everything clearly to me. Great job !

Worst bank in Australia. Under the pretext of your safety, they will block your transfers and account, even if you are going to send part of your deposit (less than 10%) to your own account in another Australian bank. And it doesn’t matter that you’ve already done it this month. Suspicious activity and your account is blocked. Everything is aimed at preventing you from using your money

I have just opened my first Commonwealth bank account and was very pleasantly surprised by kindness and professionalism April guided me through it!
Yesterday I was there again and met Carol Crawford, who said she was new at the branch, just like me...but many years of working somewhere else brought experience, knowledge and willingness to work an extra mile, to solve customer 's problem! I feel so happy to have chosen right bank/ branch !

A well run branch with exceptional service. Nothing is ever a problem and there a plenty of staff to assist you getting things sorted. When we first started to use the app we weren't too sure on how to operate it. We were given a 20 minute tutorial by one of the helpful staff. Recently had an issue with me forgetting my pin and they sorted out the issue in 5 minutes. A great place to bank !
