I've bought and sold half a dozen homes over the years but the rules keep changing. Complete Conveyancing were good to deal with - approachable, knowledgeable and responsive throughout the process. They answered every question I could think of, promptly. It was slightly disconcerting to deal with a different person during different stages of the sale, but each time the handover was seamless and it didn't complicate the process at all. I didn't use an agent and while negotiating with two potential buyers, my Complete Conveyancing contact offered to talk to them both. He came back with an offer $10K more than I was asking and settlement was brought forward two months. The net effect to us was worth ten times the Complete Conveyancing fee. Complete Conveyancing use a 3rd party to manage electronic document "signatures". The process is new to me & slightly scary. I have a background in IT and the golden rule is that you should NOT click on a link in an unanticipated email from an unknown source. In each case I confirmed with Complete Conveyancing that the request was legitimate before acting on it, and in each case it was. A better practice would be to send the client (me) an email saying that the document verification people would be sending me a request to sing...
