My experience with Conveyancing Canberra has been unprofessional and negligent. There was a mistake on my contract that was not picked up by the conveyancer which was THE WRONG ADDRESS on the energy report. When I contacted them, after the purchase had gone through, they sought the correct energy report which said the place was 2.5/6 stars instead of the 6/6 stars that the conveyancer claimed the property was initially. Once I contacted them about the discrepancy, they repeatedly ignored my emails, which I could only assume was to make me go away.

I had to contact the ACT Law Society which deemed the complaint valid based on the communication chain between myself and Conveyancing Canberra. They contacted Conveyancing Canberra to get them to contact me to resolve the issue. In response, Conveyancing Canberra acknowledged it was their mistake but refused to fix the error that they had made and expect me to incur the full financial cost of their mistake. Instead suggesting I should ask the seller's solicitor to compensate for the issue...

In summary, if you choose to go with Conveyancing Canberra, you can expect:
- A contract review not thorough enough to read the address on the report.
- If you have any issues they will repeatedly ignore you until you contact the law society to report negligence.
- They'll try and sweep it under the rug and despite acknowledging it was their error, they'll push the financial blame onto the seller's solicitor.
- And of course, refuse to fix their mistake.

Cannot think of a worse experience from a conveyancer.
