After living in the same house for 20 years, my husband and I were contemplating a move, but had not yet found a suitable house to purchase. We contacted Coronis to appraise our property, give us some advice on what we could expect from a sale, and suggest where might be a suitable location to move to. Julian Clifton was extremely helpful, visiting us twice for extended periods of time. He explained exactly how the process works these days, gave us an honest appraisal of our house, and even showed us several houses that matched our criteria as options to consider. He also clearly outlined the costs involved and gave us excellent advice and food for thought. At no time did he pressure us to make a decision or to "sign up", but offered, instead, to assist us through the process if we decide to move. I recommend Julian highly as an honest, knowledgeable, patient and caring agent. Those are rare qualities these days, and we appreciate the help Julian gave us. We will certainly be contacting Julian if we decide to make the move.

Update: I'll be attending the office to sort this issue out, Stephen Vels still refuses to repond, the reponse from Coronis was to make themselves look good! To owners and tenants don't use Coronis, they can't be trusted at all! Discusting people that directy contribute to a housing crisis. Shame on you all!

As a paying tenant for over 4 years, my experience with Stephen Vels and Coronis North Lakes has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their incompetence has directly damaged my rental history. Due to their poor management, my rent fell behind without my knowledge - they failed to issue proper notices or contact me in a timely manner so I could resolve the issue. Instead, they let it go unchecked.

To make matters worse, they did not accurately record the actual payment dates of my rent. Instead, they logged the date the payment was received in their account, creating discrepancies of up to 6 days and painting an unfair and inaccurate picture of my rental record.

(rent is taken to be paid on the day you make the transaction, even if the lessor or agent does not receive the payment in their account until a later date.)

Stephen Vels, who managed the property for the final three months, refuses to take responsibility and instead blames previous property managers - despite being fully aware of the issues and in a position to address them.

In addition, Coronis failed to collect the additional bond that was required when my rent increased - a clear breach of their responsibility. Again, no contact was made.
This lack of attention to basic procedures is alarming.

I rented three properties through Coronis, and each one ended up being sold through Image Property Aspley. From email correspondence, it’s clear that Coronis and Image Property Aspley have some form of partnership or relationship, as Image even refers to them as “Team Coronis.” Which renters should be questioning.

Avoid Stephen Vels and Coronis North Lakes at all costs if you value your rental history and peace of mind. They are disorganized, unaccountable, and unprofessional.
