David and Enza did a wonderful job helping us with our fathers estate. Everything was taken care of and they made it easy for us to navigate. We found their fees to be quite competitive as we were quoted double the final fee from another firm. Overall we were very happy with the service and we would recommend them to anyone.

I am amused how this Practice introduces itself. Read below.
I have found them to be the very opposite of their self-described philosophy.
Most definitely no help or duty of care. No efficiency, no communication.
Two months of nothing from this practice. In frustration, I engaged another law firm.
I then received an invoice that had no relevance to the work they did not do.
For the sake of my piece of mind and mental health, I paid this extravagant invoice without a fight. This firm is just not worth my mental energy.
I do not recommend this firm to anyone. Do yourself a favour and seek legal services elsewhere.

I can not believe this is how they describe their services.
We help, and we care. That really is the best way to describe our philosophy at David Gibbs & Associates. For us, that is what the law should be about.

I've given 1 star only because I have to rate this business. One star is way to much. This would have to be the most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. Poor communication, rude staff, the list goes on. Stay away at all cost.

Went through David Gibbs Associates for their conveyancing. Their written responses were very professional and I appreciated the detail in their writing. The pricing was on the higher end, although was clearing communicated which I was impressed by. Other than that, they were very hard to communicate with and I had to chase them for updates/anything. I found they missed things and didn’t do things properly. Eg; They explained they spoke to a previously employee’d building manger about details of the property, yet upon buying it, no one knew of him. I had settled on the property on the Thursday afternoon, by Monday there was a part 2 of a 3 part building plan bill issued. It was a 3k bill with 10 days to pay. When I called to query David Gibbs Associates, they said they would send me a letter and not discuss things further. The letter said they did not see any evidence of the other part being paid and they were not responsible for it.
Other things missed and they did not do an inspection or property report.

A relative went in for a simple financial POA about 3 months ago and she is still waiting to receive the final documents - , Very poor communication and slow to action things (but force you to pay well in advance) . In early August the POA was finally drafted and sent out to all parties for signing but they sent out the wrong documents to two people which was very unprofessional and caused further delays. It’s now mid September and we are still waiting for the POA to be finalised. Wouldn’t recommend unless your happy to wait months for simple documents.

Lovely friendly staff, thank you for assisting my 89 year old Mum and preparing her legal documents.
I have to admit we both were a bit shock with the price to pay, but we did get the pension discounts, but still it's a lot money for a pensioner.

A couple of the other negative reviews are spot on. Very poor communication. I had to prompt them to respond a couple of times. When I did actually have to go to the office to sign the documents I found the legal staff I dealt with to be very rude. I would not go back.

where do i start with this place.. rude, unsympathetic, unprofessional, gives improper legal advice, I contacted this firm on behalf of my myself & my elderly grandmother who is 80 years old, David Gibbs was our legal representative at the time of rectifying a legal matter on our behalf. During the process, all we got in return was avoidance, coldness, and callous behaviour, I was also given direct legal advice from David Gibbs personally that actually halted a litigation matter that I was attempting to start at the time, and in turn caused me a significant delay in making a claim in the County Court. David’s Gibbs staff members even went as far as to laugh about the situation my grandmother & i was in when i was trying to find out how much my grandmother was being billed for David Gibbs legal services, I explained that she was distressed due to the no communication however that fell on deaf ears.

The situation caused my elderly grandmother unnecessary stress, and left myself out of pocket financially by David Gibbs personally, as he illegally accessed my personal trust account that was left to me as a minor for when I was to turn 18 years old to pay for his fees he accumulated. This experience left us both unable to trust the legal system due to David Gibbs & his firm.

if you have matters than involve large sums of money or estate matters, you’ll most likely be be taken advantage of if you go here, my advice would be to stay away from David Gibb and his firm, they will be nothing but trouble for you.
