I have known Mario, lawyers and people in his firm in a professional capacity for well over 20 years now. Not only have I engaged Mario and Grace at the firm myself, but I have recommended others to use their professional services as well. My wife and I have been extremely happy over the years with the high quality of advice and assistance in a range of matters, some complex, some a bit less so but still with their unique difficulties. In all matters and on all occasions, I have found Mario’s and Grace’s advice thoughtful, diligent, friendly, and of course, very helpful. I say this as a retired lawyer, though practising in different areas to Mario’s and Grace’s expertise; this, therefore, places me in a good position to judge other lawyers’ professionalism. I will continue in future to seek out advice and help from Di Lizio & Assocs, and could not recommend them more highly.

Had my property settled through Di Lizio & Associates. Both Mario and May had been very friendly and helpful through the entire process. I am extremely impressed with the service that I received. Best of all, the price was extremely reasonable.

Definitely will go through them again for my future properties.

I referred a number of clients from Spanish backgrounds to Mario and they were very happy with the results, the friendly environment and the time to complete the settlement. Also some of them were happily surprised as Mario suggested to purchase the property as a tenancy in common instead of joint tenancy which was a plus as they did not know the difference between both legal concepts. I consider an honour to have known Mario over many years and to still confirm that he is not only compassionate towards the client's issues but also efficient and responsible in the profession.

Mario is a very good and professional lawyer. He assisted me and my son for our right. He fought for me in property cases. He's more of a mindset than many of the lawyers I've consulted with. If you've put your lawsuit in Mario's hands, believe me, that he will do his best, of the best of his abilities, and more than that, he is a very honest lawyer, who work with heart. Thank you very much Mario. God bless you!

In response to owner:

I was not offered 7pm by Grace otherwise I could make it? I finish at 4 or 530pm so...?

I acknowledged I was abit short that day over the phone but was not offered an after hours time to meet and she was equally frustrated when I asked for a later time and kept saying suggesting that I'll just lose the place if I don't meet her.

I appreciate the work she has put in but at the same time she's just... Doing her job? It's not like she's gone above and beyond in any way. Sending contract files over to my broker is reasonable no? I never forced her to send me an email reply or hassled for one. We asked some questions about building warranty and was told to go ask strata it's not her problem.
I admit we have sent numerous emails over this period but we don't know much as first home owners and diving into this for the first time. If our lack of knowledge was a pain for you then maybe just tell people like us to go away.

I was not after a guarantee or a delegate to make a decision. I'm not sure how Grace explained this to you? Explaining the contract and seeking advice as you have said is reasonable.
Further to that, that was not even the major issue and I'm not even surprised that's how it was explained to you by Grace.
The reason we decided to end our arrangement with was because she was incredibly rude. Read the emails from her and if you think that is professional and not at all rude then we'll I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. Her last email crossed the line and we wanted nothing to do with her anymore despite nearly about to sign.

I understand she's your employee and I see nothing but glowing reviews for yourself from others but zero mentions of Grace.
I also know you are busy but we included you in the termination email and we didn't receive a call or email back from you to discuss in private. It's only when we posted a public review that you have replied.

If this is the first time she's ever received such a review then I guess we were just unlucky.
We have since onboarded a new solicitor and the experience has been night and day.

Nothing against you Mario but she is your employee so we have to leave this review.

5 stars for responsiveness and professionalism
0 star for bad attitude and rudeness (she got upset and raised her voice at me when answering my question, also very rude and mean in one of the emails she sent to us)
0 star for helpfulness and experience (went to other solicitor and was satisfied with their helps and advises so far, as compared to my experience with Grace - unwilling to provide help & advise regarding many critical matters, failed to perform due diligence works and told us that we would lose the property if we don't come to the meeting on Friday (vendor request to have the contract signed by Friday after releasing contract 2 days ago) while our new solicitor managed to extend the "signing due date" and did not fall into the trick of the other side)
That leaves us 1.67 stars

***Response to Mario's comment:
Wow! please use the right words to reflect the truth...as a lawyer you should know such things.
We didnt "require" Grace to meet after hours. We politely asked if it was possible since we couldnt take leave under short notice (2 days)

We didn't "delegate" any responsibility or seek for "guarantee" neither. We was trying to understand what the risks were. That's all. From your point of view, you saw us as "delegating". From our point of view, you were using that as your excuse for not willing to explaining complex matters to us

We moved to our current solicitor who is knowledgeable enough to deliver what we have expected for! At least they dont get back to us with "i dont understand your questions" and complain about our "non-stop" emails.

Just Wow
