Leaving an honest review. After dealing with these people I am glad I am no longer needing a home. It was back and forth on email, and no respect for the contract terms. They kept threatening me with interest if I didnt settle and would not come to my side to get contractual elements fixed. Stay warned. Sales agency also advised me they were not telling me the truth and some emails were not acceptable.

Lisa, Abby and Peta did a fabulous job settling my Dads property for me. Their professionalism, knowledge and compassion made this task so much easier than I expected and their fees are also very reasonable. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone requiring a settlement agency.

Really bad experience as they didn't fulfil the contract (gas and electric/plumbing subclause) and kept on saying I put an offer on the house as is...which isn't correct. You do have rights as per your contract. Kitchen light didnt even work but was forced to take house as they kept ignoring requests and delayed past the 3 day allowance. Personally I think they don't understand a legal contract and are probably not going to be the best legal option for you as they force buyers to take houses with defects without enforcing the legal contract rights and its subclauses. I wouldnt use this company please becareful when using as it may cost you. Poor form.

Terrible.
Non disclosure of damages to property between final inspection and settlement. Oven handle was snapped off and glass was held on with tape.
Agent was not responsive to requests to resolve issue.

Lisa Ridley & Abbie Bentley of Dolphin Settlements in Baldivis both left such an excellent impression on me from the very first day I enquired about their services over the phone that I did not hesitate to get them to organise the settlement of my property which was being sold at Safety Bay.

During the process, they both:
1. Displayed a thorough knowledge of the settlement process including the use of PEXA.
2. Comprehensively explained all the required documentation that I had to sign.
3. Responded to all my queries and provided updates in a timely manner.

Choosing a settlement agent meant to me finding someone that would do everything right by you, have a good understanding of the transaction taking place, and back their customers’ best interests. Well, this one has not ticked any of those boxes. Contrarily, I was rushed throughout the entire process; when I had queries, brushed off; and worse, when I had concerns, disregarded. Lisa and, particularly, Harmony, simply pushed it to pay day (for them); that’s how I felt as the customer. So bad, that when faced with problems post settlement I couldn’t even trust/rely on even making contact with this agency as I knew (through several experiences) what excuses I would hear. DO NOT BE MISLED BY ALL THE FAKE REVIEWS. To exemplify some of the issues, Harmony offered to look at the contract before I signed when I expressed concerns, only to come back to me and say “it’s all good”. It wasn’t all good. When questioned about the poor assessment of the contract, I was hit with “we’re not lawyers”. Well, that would be helpful to hear before the useless/misleading advice received. Amongst many other red flags, which this “brief” review does not allow me to detail, these appalling agents didn’t do their home work and didn’t realise that a document hasn’t been completed, ON THE DAY OF SETTLEMENT, causing a week-long nerve-wrecking run around. And after all the unbelievably frustrating DISservice provided, this agency has the audacity to mail me a letter that quotes “we trust you have been satisfied with our service (…)”. It is to boil a monk’s blood!
Do yourself a massive favour: do not look at the cost when hiring a settlement agent. Hire a competent agency, that will have your best interests at the forefront of their minds, and not see you as another number (or dollar sign) that sadly fell for their fake, fabricated and foolish, 5 star reviews.
