Great experience @ Duchess Medical Vasse. Prompt next day appointment and Lovely Reception and Doctor . Running on time. Caring and efficient. Sorted out medical issue with prescription required and immediate in surgery procedure then referred to Cancer Clinic for tests. Greatly appreciated . With thanks

Fast to get in, same day appointment and the Doctor we saw was very good, made the time to ask my concerns, get my son comfortable with him (with a lollipop!!) and answered our questions. Clinic is always tidy and welcoming.

Whilst I eventually achieved the desired outcome of my visit, it was disappointing to wait 1hr 20 mins for my 11am booked appointment. I fully acknowledge that delays are sometimes unavoidable & I could have called to see how the morning was going however I don't really think I should have to. If there is this system in place to send me a text to confirm the appointment that I have made (& to which I turned up to on time), then why can't this same system be used to alert the patient of the likely wait time. Alternatively, perhaps the GP time could be better managed & if a visit is looking to take a lot longer than anticipated, negotiate with that patient to rebook them asap in a better timeslot to better address their needs thereby looking after them & also the waiting room of other patients. I feel the current system only causes frustration on both sides & it seems as if the patient's time really isn't important enough that they are given the courtesy of being seen on time. I know of people who are docked time from their job while they spend time waiting to be seen, fortunately for me I had the time to wait & left with my referral & a very tidy phone ! Had I not really needed this referral, I would simply have left with nothing but wasted time.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had with a doctor. Felt very judged and the doctor had little knowledge of the subject I had came in for help with, I left in tears. Needed some tests done, over a week later and I still haven’t received my results even though I can see they have been uploaded on my health records online through pathology, not surprisingly I believe the doctor forgot to specify her name on the test as the doctor was listed as “unknown” on the pathology report. Contacted the practise several times in which they said they’d follow up the results however am yet to hear from them over a week later. Very disappointing and disheartening and a waste of my time to get absolutely no outcomes over a week later and I’ll have to start all over again by visiting another doctor somewhere else.

FANTASTIC!! Had the best experience taking my little ones in today! Staff are beautiful and friendly and so willing to help! From the moment we walked in Kay was a delight and so helpful! She was more than happy to have a chat with my chatty Kathy 4yr old. Dr Steve was so amazing, he made my little girl feel very at ease during her appointment! I appreciated that he didn’t just give us a script, he was very informative and gave us options to try so we could avoid taking antibiotics as it wasn’t an urgent condition! We didn’t feel rushed which is rare, he was very generous with detailed information! Jo our nurse was so incredible with helping us to get our baby boys immunisation done! She quickly realised our health record wasn’t up to date and was more than happy to help me contact the medical centre to make sure she was giving him the right shots and get it updated! Nurse Emma was also amazing and so helpful with keeping my 4yo occupied while Bubs got his shot, I think she has a new bestie! 🙂
Thank you so much to you all! I was dreading the whole thing and you made it a breeze and enjoyable! I don’t think many people can say that especially when there are kids needles being given! Merry Christmas to you all!! 🎅🎄

Extremely helpful desk clerks. Dr Kate Collister had a friendly manner, made a careful examination, and enquired about the current Rx I was on before making a diagnosis and prescribing.
To rule out secondary infection she also took swabs and assured me the results would be ready by three days. To ring the nurses as she would be engaged as an anaesthetist at Busselton Hospital.
