Left my MacBook overnight to get a quote, turned out to be a huge mistake. Once Tim called the next day with a quote of $380 saying that it was an issue with the charging port, I discussed with my husband before agreeing to continue to look elsewhere, I let Tim know this & his tone changed from chirpy salesman to very blunt; he let me know that I couldn’t pick up that day and they would be ready to close up the MacBook and hand over “first thing next morning” & that once the MacBook leaves the store, said quote would be void … had I known this, I would have never left my device with them overnight because quite frankly; I believe they may have tampered with my device.

Upon pick up, Tim was very dismissive, no discussion whatsoever about the computer or quote, despite my assurance over the phone that we were simply shopping around and could potentially be back; the computer was just handed to me & I was basically waved, with a forced smile of course, out the door.

I then took my computer to another repair store a fair few meters down the road; the shopkeeper there was able to open the device right in front of me and give me a quote almost immediately; in addition to a DUST issue with the charging port, he pointed out discrepancies with the RAM/motherboard. This made it clear to me that Tim either did not have the expertise to see the additional issue OR he himself created it; hence why I will never recommend this place ! Steer clear, for your own good. Also, the MacBook charger I left with Elite Computer snapped straight off as the 2nd shop tried to plug it in, coincidence? Maybe, suspicious? Absolutely .. and I’m happy to send proof of my interactions, seeing as the owner likes to reply to negative reviews accusing reviewers of having them confused with “another store” . Again; do not go to Elite Computer Cranbourne!! 👎🏽

New PC kept black screening and crashing for months so I decided to take it in to Tim to have a look at, he managed to get my motherboard repaired, replaced my SSD and faulty graphics card and did it all very quick and did a perfect job!

Absolute legend can't fault him, had a back surgery last year and not allowed to carry much and he went out of his way to come and pick up my computer from my house and when it was time for me to come in and get it he even walked it out for me to my car

I asked him a million questions and even though I was probably annoying at some point he answered all of them
