Receptionist was condescending and rude. I Missed my daughter’s appointment which i understand is frustrating for the business. I called back immediately and first thing I offered was to pay a no show fee. I also work in an appointment based industry and things happen sometimes but to offer to pay and rectify the issue is the best thing you can do. She said we wont be coming back there and they are not taking new clients with a rude tone. We had never attended prior so not sure how I was able to book an online appointment in the first place if they aren’t taking new clients. Don’t take a job as receptionist if you are going to talk to people with such a rude tone. A lot of different jobs out there for you. Customer service 0/10

Where to start so disappointing i felt I could go to doctor for help,,,

I Went to see a doctor here in regards to a injury at work...
Had multiple times requested further checks due to really slow recovery and excessive pain and poor imaging on the first scan...
I was ignored
Found out my pysio had requested referrals for advanced pain management never heard about it, to he ask me...
When I would explain my pain I was told to stop talking multiple times made me feel highly uncomfortable then said, I have anxiety because of my injury and my boss NOT TRUE it was from the situation i was presented with!!! the office lady was in the room and seen it all because i wanted my boss to dail in so he could understand where i am at with recovery she blew up made it so much worse,,
After being told I had to take medication because it will effect my workers comp if I don't wasn't listened to when I said fhey made me feel sick a vomited,, i went back she tired telling me the meds she had me on they formed stomach ulcers She wouldnt listen when I said I'm pretty sure my throat is sore and hurt from vomiting not my stomach 4 days later ended up in hospital because of ulcer found near my tonsles

6 months injured still not confident I had the correct diagnosis for my initial injury really poor been hesitating to review. but after the pain the suffering the stress this has
caused I'm upset and don't think she should have a medical licence if that's how you treat people that need help and care

I cannot recommend Falcon Grove enough. They have gone above and beyond and shown true care.

After not being able to get into my doctor for a whole week I turned to Falcon Grove medical on Monday
as I was in severe pain had swelling I could not eat or drink talk or even swallow
from what I thought was swollen glands after seeing a doctor on the Sunday 30 June and being turned away as just a sore throat

I seen this doctor on Tuesday 1 July and she immediately knew I wasn’t well swelling to the side of my face unable to eat drink swallow my own saliva. She took one look into my mouth and saying I had laryngitis. And immediately placed me on antibiotics and steroids
She ordered some blood test and got it back the next day. even rang me to see how I am feeling and to tell me that I had a huge infection through my body

I am so thankful and grateful for her help thanks so much I’m feeling so much better

I’ve been attending this clinic for many years and have always had a good experience until now.
It has been 2 visits so far that took ages to get, and lengthy wait periods between appointments to have my daughter seen by the doctor for a small toe nail procedure, a procedure my younger daughter also had done via this clinic and great doctor last year. Upon the second visit my daughter returned home with the same issue, nothing was done, as apparently the 1st doctor (the practice managing director, and by accounts a very experienced doctor) could not advise on this issue, however the recommended doctor, doctor 2 needed to do an assessment on the toe 1st and we did not book a long enough appointment. All perfectly fine except that we were not informed that the second booking was for another assessment! We assumed the 1st doctor was the one who assessed the issue, let’s not forget a very experienced GP, did not inform us that we should have made a 3rd, longer, 30min appointment, we were expecting the procedure to be done (my daughter has now lived with the pain for months as she is difficult to get to the doctor)
When I called to ask what was going on? I was told by the receptionist to go to a podiatrist and pay as private patients as the doctor who we booked at their clinic would need a 30min appointment and that it would be a long time before we could see him again for the procedure.
Ridiculous lack of service. No accurate information provided initially, and then told to go elsewhere and pay privately for a podiatrist when our doctor is more than capable of completing the procedure. I am absolutely disgusted in this receptionists attitude towards a very long term patient and customer service. Not to mention she refused to listen to the reason I was upset and just tried to talk over me the entire time then had the gaul to tell me to calm down, I was not even close to angry, I was simply trying to understand why this had been such a circus and how to get this sorted out. Why not just do better and book it in for the 3rd (30min) appointment for the same issue? Beats me unless the doctors surgery is now just a poor referral centre and doctors no longer do doctor work ?
I’m so upset/frustrated and actually angry at this receptionists response. Bad day or not, telling a long term supporter of the clinic to basically F off is not exactly what you expect from your medical centre.
The receptionist did call me back but all the receptionist was calling back for was to attempt to justify her poor listening skills and to try to blame me by accusing me of being rude. I was not rude however I was frustrated as the receptionist kept talking over me when I was attempting to explain. I did end up being short and hanging up.
What happened to service?
There is such a lack of customer service today that even when the provider stuffs up they can’t simply say “oops we dropped the ball” no all said receptionist wanted to do was blame her co workers, it was not me who made the booking” or the customer. I even started trying to explain I understood it was not her who made the booking however… but rather find a simple solution this person, who is not a child, took an adversarial stance.
Not good enough, what ever your reasons.
It was NO error of mine that lead to this. I also do not get paid to manage issues as they arise in your practice be they due to doctor communication or otherwise, you do. Do better.

The front desk staff are borderline rude to customers. No pleasantries, abrupt, and definitely no empathy for the sick uncomfortable people that need the help of a doctor. Sign of the times that with doctors shortages staff think that there is no need for customer service anymore. Really if you’re not up for dealing with people that are not at their best, find a different line of work.

I find the medical staff friendly and knowledgeable and that’s why I go back.

I used this clinic and had a great experince, until I had a stroke and went there, saw a new doctor, he proscrobed mediaction. On my return to the clinic I saw a Chinese doctors whilst reading my notes he asked me if I am an alcoholic, what a put me down and misdiagnoses, get your act together, here in Australia these type of ill informed diagnoses is trouble. To add I could not take the medication he proscribed anyway, made me feel really sick.
