This is my experience with Madeline Tran

In April 2015, she was representing me as a father in a family law proceeding in the Federal Circuit Court brought by my ex partner. Madeline Tran's rude and unprofessional conduct through out the case ultimately resulted in a complaint lodged by me and as a result the Victorian Legal Services Commissioner found that sheo wrongly withdrew from my case in complete violation of the Federal Circuit Court Rules, and to have knowingly made a misleading statement to the court, and to have failed to provide a full, written explanation of her conduct.

Other allegations included poor professional communication, rude behavior, non-compliance with court rules when withdrawing from the case, knowingly misleading the court, and failing to provide a full written explanation of her actions. These issues raise concerns about professionalism and adherence to legal standards. Proceed with caution if considering her services.

Be careful with this firm.
Madeleine took the retainer but didn’t provide much services, except for some phone calls.
When I decided to move on with another lawyer, it took me 4 months to get the remaining fund, after she claimed that the $3200 had been spent. Couldn’t show any work she had done for me.

"I was married to a gold digger who used me for her PR and ghosted me after she got her PR. She then started court proceedings against me seeking 50 percent of my assets! I retained 2 bad lawyers before finally coming to Madeleine. Madeleine was blunt, honest and harsh and I needed someone like her on my side. She understood my position and was very clear with her advice and her legal fees. She got me a great outcome. We settled with me only giving my ex $5,000. If you have a gold digger out there I highly recommend you get advice from her! Thank you so much Madeleine

Would not recommend this law firm for family law matters.
Settled matter with my ex and lifting caveat was part of settlement condition. Fast forward 3 years, my ex goes to get finance and my caveat is still listed. I ring up Madeleine to ask why the caveat hasn't been lifted and the poor excuse I got was "that wasn't part of the settlement" when infact it was paid for within the settlement. The best part was she wanted charge me a second time to do a job she was already paid for but didn't do I told her everything was paid up in full and she even got extra with the ridiculous number she plucked out of thin air. I didn't even get a tax invoice for services rendered. I explained to her the caveat being lifted was part of the settlement and the final part to conclude the matter.
Had to pay my new Lawyers to the lift the caveat. Be wary.

Madeleine was an amazing help with my family court matter. Extremely helpful and understanding throughout the process. Importantly in a system that favours the mother and is slowly shifting towards the father I got the outcome of 50/50 custody that would not had been achieved through the diligence of the team.

Be careful with this firm. The principal lawyer (Madeleine Tran) has been found guilty of professional misconduct and unsatisfactory professional conduct:

'Ms Tran pleaded guilty on charge one of withdrawing as a lawyer in a manner not in compliance with the court’s rules. As such, the tribunal found her guilty of unsatisfactory professional conduct on this charge. She was also found guilty of professional misconduct on the charge of failing to provide a full written explanation of her conduct to the commissioner.'
