By ignoring the harm domestic violence, toxic stress and neglect does to a child… family courts are abetting in child abuse. I wonder how we ever let these unequipped people have so much power over our lives. Lawyers know nothing about child development, they know how to argue… how to use legal tools to create a narrative, they don't care that they’re hurting us and our children when the rewards for themselves are so rich. If you’re looking for a legal representative that can create a supportive process I don’t recommend Alison Roberts.

These Lawyers are the worst possible. Stay well clear of them. They intentionally add fuel to what was originally a moderate divorce case. Citing they are the most professional in the Newcastle area. They failed repeatedly to pass information and requests to the other party and visa a versa intentionally, to escalate every situation. I did all the leg work for them, with them adding very little, for their $440 per hour rate. I was paying as the case went on and I was being charged for communication emails that were not sent or received. And I was also being charged for email that they claimed was read by them yet, could not relay any of the content to me. Clearly they had not read them, yet I was charged for them to do so. Within a month of the court hearing they dumped my case after they stretched it out for just short of 3 years. This was when they had to demonstrate their claimed ‘Most Professional Lawyers in Newcastle’ ability in the family law court.
My next Lawyer was the greatly more professional. Light years better.
