My barrister Chris Oldham successfully defended me on an IVO and two related criminal matters stemming from it. Took from 2020 to Aug 2023 to resolve everything. The complainant filed IVO on the very same afternoon I served my initiating application in family court. It was surreal driving to the police station for a police cell interview with no one about on the streets, kids taken from me by police, while the whole city was locked down. Stressful doesn't begin to describe. However, Chris knocked over each of the 3 matters. The final was an IVO breach, dismissed in court last month. My cleanskin record remains intact. Bravo.

I attended the Foley's Family Law Breakfast on 15 September 2022. It was by far one of the most enjoyable formats for a seminar with each speaker addressing a fact scenario. It was informative, relevant and interesting. Also a great way for Foley's to showcase their barristers.

I would recommend Elizabeth McKinnon at Foley's list for doing an outstanding defence for myself over a long period of time.Most importantly achieving a win for myself that I do not believe many other Barristers would put such an effort into achieving.Goes above and beyond for her clients.My experience was intervention order accusations.In this new age of intervention orders and if you are a guy facing a challenge dealing with aspects and accusations that might arise on such orders it would be very wise to use the services of this very capable Barrister to keep you out of jail.She would most likely be very capable of representing women in such situations as well . I can verify that she is very capable of taking on the police and calculating opponents.If you need the services of a good lawyer stop right here and get one.Fortunately I used Elizabeth McKinnon a Barrister at Foley's list and am now able to enjoy life without the doom of further jail time looming on the horizon.I was extremely lucky to get such a competent lawyer, make sure you do too.
