I am shocked to see Ashok Yogachandra got an associate position with this law firm which is such a shame. Years ago, I had some credit report issue. Confused and stressed, I found NSW law society to refer some free legal advice and that’s how I got an appointment with this solicitor. He was 30 minutes late for our appointment, and the second he started to talk you can just tell he has no intention to give you any substantial info. He is trying very hard to avoid giving any straight forward answer but kept saying: oh if you don’t hire a lawyer you may go to jail. I had a bit of legal training myself and had already talked to a few solicitors, so you could just tell he wanted to withhold information that would be helpful, instead giving me the worst scenario possible so I may panic and spend heaps of money to probably make a small legal issue bigger than what it was. And when I asked more detailed questions, (because I can tell he would just waste my time if I don’t pay), he just said in these actual words: “you need to PAY for me to answer that.” Later I got another solicitor that gave me very specific legal advice straight away, I was very grateful so I actually said: “I am happy to pay for the advice you gave me.” This other lawyer said: no you don’t have to pay at all. You are referred by NSW legal society, it would be wrong for me to charge you.
I am very shocked by Ashok’s behaviours and solicitors like him is exactly why lawyered have bad reputation, because not only they underestimate your intelligence, they are so arrogant and lack of integrity and think they can bully you into paying a lot of money because of the professional knowledge they think you don’t have. I would suggest anyone stay away from this solicitor.
Otherwise I don’t have a bad word about this firm tho. My encounter with him happened when he was with his previous firm. Just a pity Frank Law would hire someone like this.

I would not recommend them.It is waste of lots of money. Especially if you are a DV survivor. They were absolutely useless and just accepted payment but did not action or help. Had to change lawyers at the end. They are so not worth it.

Ash Yogachandra was able to help tremendously with an issue I had. He thought of things I hadn't even considered, followed up to check on me and carefully took the time to explain everything in very easy to understand language. I cannot recommend him and Frank Law + Advisory high enough.

Went for a second opinion with Andrea of Frank Law. I found her to be very understand of my situation. She listened patiently and offered insight to my case. She has offered me a solution to my case, rather than asking me to go through all the steps so they can charge you by the hour. Compared to the other family lawyer I engaged in Manly, which did everything they could to drag out the case (9 months). I much appreciate the advice I received from Andrea. It's not easy to come across such a Family lawyers like Andrea.

I cannot recommend this law firm enough! Andrea, Katherine, Andrew, James, Ash and Lisa helped my brother and I on a family will matter recently. I have had the privilege of working with Philip van den Heever on a number of matters with mutual clients. He has an in depth knowledge of commercial law, particularly employment law.
