I was appointed as an attorney for a relatives estate. This organisation failed to notify me that I and the other attorney were revoked. When I questioned them on the matter they advised “yes sometimes we do it that way so people don’t get upset” A failure to do this can result in an attorney having the legal right to still make decisions on behalf of the principle. Pretty important step one would think.

Yesterday my elderly father arrived unannounced in Gill and Lane's office. He was distressed over an issue with his gas company. Where others may have told him they could not help, the staff at Gill and Lane called the gas company on his behalf, sorted out the problem and made him happy again. The cost of this service; nothing but my admiration and gratitude. Sometime we get the chance to make a difference. I wish I could remember the person's name who went out of their way to help my dad. She certainly made a difference to him and to me. Guess who will be my solicitor from now on.

Would NEVER recommend this Solicitor. They have taken close to a year to handle a very simple estate, never communicating with the executor of the estate at all and when he has contacted them we get nothing.
