Utilised GLG legal for the purchase of our section back on the 16th of September 2024, I had to ask them for verification of settlement to continue our build process, and was advised on the 17th that we would receive proper documentation of settlement shortly however this was not received until the 6th of November 2024. We then receive an overdue bill for the council rates in Feb 2025 via a txt, I ring the council they were never provided a postal address upon settlement from the lawyers and bills were returned back to them, to which we had to pay two rate quarters, it’s now nearing end of March and I receive a SMS from urban utilities advising of an overdue bill with them also as they too were not provided with a postal address upon settlement so their mail was returned also - for another bill that requires urgent payment and incurred interest fees for non payment. I found the communication between ourselves and GLG legal staff was poor in comparison to the service we paid for.
