Worst family lawyer, Jas was just sitting in the courtroom flipping his files watching the other side interrogate me without defending me and worse did not cross examine my ex on his non- disclosure issues and he got away with his hidden assets . Jas and the barrister simply dismissed and ignored my concerns and request. They basically passed me my ex's demands to me but was not proactive in asking the same from him.
Jas and the barristers did not even ask for the costs thrown away of over $10000 for me during the trial and I had to ask for it myself in a subsequent application on my own. ( which I received)The representation was a worse outcome than non representation as the Judge refused to admit my evidences of my ex's non-disclosure saying in his reason my lawyer had the opportunity to cross examine him but failed to do. If I was self represented I could still have the chance to have the evidences reopened. I had a review subsequently by another lawyer and he also commented in his findings the lack of cross examination by Jas and the barrister. Moreover Jas and the barrister also blamed the bad outcome on me as the Judge did not like me and they have nothing to do with it. It would have been better to at least save the expensive legal costs which was simply wasted.

The other side’s solicitor also repeatedly complained to the Judge that we filed the trial affidavit late.

Also beware the firm engages a legal aide from India who is hard to understand and only wants to rearrange what you wrote into a more legal language and nice paragraphs and also charged you for attending the meeting to take notes.
When I expressed my concerns and dissatisfactions, instead of trying to address the matter they simply issue you with a notice to cease and then demand their payments or legal action despite their dismal performance.
I couldn't stress the importance of choosing a good family lawyer , the stakes are too high if you get it wrong. I got it wrong using Goldman Law
