I sought to obtain a Power of Attorney document and initially engaged with Paul's office for assistance. After explaining my requirements over the phone, I scheduled an appointment. During the meeting with Paul, he advised me to obtain a sample document from overseas, which I promptly acquired. In our discussion, Paul assured me that there would be no issues, and he indicated that there was no need for another appointment. He estimated the process would take around 20 minutes.

However, after waiting for two weeks without any progress, I diligently reached out to his office every day to convey the urgency of my situation, as I had an upcoming overseas trip. To expedite matters, I visited the office in person to submit the necessary documents for preparation. Despite these efforts, my repeated phone calls following the submission of documents yielded no concrete response from their end.

Growing increasingly concerned due to the limited time before my travel, I decided to seek an alternative solution. I subsequently made an appointment with another notary in Maroochydore. In contrast to my previous experience, their receptionist promptly inquired about the adequacy of my paperwork in English. As a result of their efficient communication and streamlined processes, the Power of Attorney document was successfully completed within 30 minutes the following day.

While I hold Paul in high regard for his expertise, it appears there was a breakdown in communication within his team. This situation underscores the importance of effective inter-team communication and timely client correspondence to ensure a seamless experience.
