Just awesome & a renowned snorkeling & scuba diving spot . Absolute gem of a beach and thereโ€™s a hidden cave on the north end thatโ€™s accessible by foot at low tide.

Beautiful small beach surrounded by rocky headlands which can be explored as well as small rocky island 100m in ocean.

Beautiful area of the coast and a fabulous Scuba Diving site. Parking is really difficult during holiday periods and is worth going quite early if you want a park down the bottom near the beach. The whole area is part of the Batemans Bay Marine Reserve so no fishing or taking anything with you.
We usually start our dive at the "shothole" (to the left of the island looking from the carpark) and circumnavigate around the island to surface on the bay side which is a nice gentle shallow exit. There are usually quite a few stingrays, nudibranchs and lots of wrasse swimming around. When diving make sure to be careful when passing around the southern end of the island because it is easy to accidentally turn too early and come up in one of the rocky rough patches where its open to rough seas if the surge is pumping.
When the tide is low you can easily cross to the island and climb up for a fab view at the top, just make sure to come back before you get your socks wet. The climb is not really a good idea if you have any mobility issues or have really young kids with you (there is a risk of a fall).

Great little beach sheltered by a island. No much parking though.

If you've ever dreamed of being a Bond villain, Guerilla Bay is the perfect place to set up your lair. If you head to the end of Bay Street off Beach Parade, you'll reach a tiny, 8-car carpark. As soon as you walk down to the sand, a jagged rock form grows in front of you and presents itself with two separate beaches. It's incredible.

On the right-hand side are the more substantial part of the bay and sandy bits intermittent amongst large, smooth rocks. It's a rough entry and exit if you're determined to go through the rocks. There are healthy kelp beds with plenty of critters to follow. The swell of the ocean invariably brings in fresh, cold water that makes you do a little shiver.

The left side, also known as "The Pot," is for the slightly more experienced snorkelers as the swells are more massive and there are plenty more rocks that disappear right beneath the surface. Be careful on entry, but get ready to see lots of rays, sponges, and fish. We were lucky enough to see a White-spotted Eagle Ray on our second dive; they look more prominent in person. There's a cave that you can swim into (I did not, I chickened out) that apparently has lots of crabs.

At high tide, the spit of land between the two beaches disappears, and you can take shelter on either the beach or just under the towering rock formations. If you want to warm up a bit outside of the water, scramble up the rocks to get an incredible view of the entire bay.

Seems a shame to review this beach highly, then everyone will know about it. Excellent beach to take the kids - protected by rocky outcrops, gentle waves. Unpatrolled, limited parking, toilets. Itโ€™s a hidden gem as other reviewers say. Rocky beach - worth the look.
