We used Hailes lawyers for my property settlement. I was very naive around the selling and buying processes, however the lawyers at this firm were fantastic to deal with. Horrible settlement experience with them. They acted as lawyers for the developer and were a complete pain to deal with. Very slow, rarely replied to emails and only supplied the statement of adjustments two hours before settlement was booked to take place. My bank and solicitor made everything ready on their side for settlement to occur even at that late hour and then Hailes just ghosted both of them. I was left looking like an idiot waiting to get my keys and completely wasted the time I took off work to collect them. They even had the audacity later in to say that settlement was extended by their good will to give me more time to arrange finance, when everything was already ready to go from my side on the day. Completely unprofessional and they've only just made a horrible settlement experience worse.
