I had bought a new property recently, while having Hanson Property Settlements acting as my settlement agent. The entire process was fairly smooth with numerous phone calls made at critical milestone which I like about. The only thing that I could fault is I wish the team could disclose the fact that the seller was also appointing them behaving as their settlement agent at an early stage, rather than later. Due to potential conflict of interest and potential biased decision could be made during the settlement process (fortunately didn't happen during the process), I wasn't feeling easy during the time.
