Where do I start with my review for Hartley Lawyers?

Firstly, I engaged in a free consultation in regard to childcare arrangements and property settlement following my divorce.

The lawyer assigned to me was Emel Kurt. I can’t even begin to thank Emel enough for everything she has done for me.
Not only was Emel very knowledgeable regrading the law and all steps that I needed to follow, she walked me through what was about to happen next. At no stage did I feel isolated, unsure or concerned about what was happening. Emel made sure that with every interaction, that she/ Hartley Lawyers were always there for me. In every instance our meetings ended positively and I always knew what was happening with my case. I never felt like just another customer.
Regardless to how many attempts we made to negotiate with my ex- it ended up going to court.
There was a moment towards the end that I just wanted the matter over so that I could start the next new chapter of my life as going through this process is draining
I instructed Emel to settle for what my ex wanted - just so the matter was over with.
Emel explained to me that she is there for me, and that she would follow my instructions regardless, however what was being asked was extremely unreasonable and that whilst she would follow my instructions, she wanted to first attempt to negotiate once more.
As it turns out- I should have listed to Emel in the first place as I walked away with a much fairer allocation and split- not what was being asked.

With regards to costs for services:
Emel always communicated to me what costs were incurred at each step of the way and the amounts.
I never at any stage was shocked with the invoicing as I already knew what to expect and the invoice was always itemised. Emel’s advise to me was to deposit what I could into my trust account with each pay so that it could be drawn down on for services provided. Best advise one can receive and I would encourage anyone to do the same thing.

I would highly recommend Emel Kurt- if you need EXPERT help and EXPERT ADVICE AND EXPERIENCE - request her specifically. Her costs are well worth it and affordable.
