I had a stressful experience communicating with my conveyancer. On multiple occasions I had to send multiple follow up emails when I didn't get a response.
Very poor communication leading up to settlement day.
9 months later after settlement, I received bills totalling up to $3,500 because fees from the vendor were not paid on settlement which I believe was my conveyancer's responsibility. When I put in a formal complant, I did receive better communication from a principal at Harwood Andrews. For a resolution, they decided the cover the fees since it was too late for the vendors to play.
