We recently worked with Lucy to complete our estate planning and can’t stress enough what a wonderful experience it was having Lucy guide us through the process. Our situation is complex, and we didn’t always agree on how to structure things, but Lucy showed a great deal of patience, tact and empathy throughout and helped us work through it all. We were rushing to get it done before a big overseas trip, Lucy worked with us to find times that suited our schedule, worked around our work meetings and met with us in the evenings and even on the weekends, she really went above and beyond. The last day before we were due to go overseas, we were struggling to find a JP and she even called our local police station and convinced them to witness the documents! She was an absolute pleasure to deal with, but more importantly, the work she did was absolutely tailored to our situation and wishes, she proactively raised issues we had not considered, despite the fact this would add to her work effort - without increasing the cost. Lucy is absolutely NOT a tick and flick, cookie cutter estate planner, she designs a detailed, tailored plan, considering your specific wishes and the risks involved in your situation. The documents she prepares are above and beyond what you would generally get done, and as someone whose job involves seeing the worst of families when things go wrong with estate planning.. I know how important that is. It is well worth the money as we are both now feeling so comfortable and reassured that everything has been structured in a way that will protect our assets and family members in the way we want it to. It’s not an easy process, but Lucy’s guidance and thoughtful approach made it feel so much more easier.
