i highly recommend all vets and nurses at hope island veterinary surgery. the level of care and compassion is unlike any other vet i have been to. no matter the severity of your concerns, your fur baby is in the right hands with this team.

i have been taking all my animals to the team since dr chris and nurse courtney helped my salvi over the rainbow bridge. they have helped tuxy with her aging, achy bones. as well as russett when he was having allergies. so when i adopted winnie i knew where to take her.

as soon as i took official ownership of winnie i took her to the team as we were not making any progress on her skin issues which arose during our foster period. i had previously taken her to a chain vet as per my foster agreement. upon discussing winnie’s symptoms we has realised that they had misdiagnosed her, hence the treatment not working. dr chris spent the time answering my many questions, outlining effective treatment options and gave me a print out explaining everything. when winnie developed sudden onset wheezing and respiratory symptoms after a routine bath i was able to take her in to see nurse charlotte and dr michelle right away. they were able to narrow down the issue by performing chest xrays and winnie was on her way to recovery with some antibiotics. of course as soon as i got home her condition worsened, with winnie beginning to vomit and developing nausea. i was able to rush her back to get an anti-nausea shot from nurse tahlia, so she was able to rest comfortably. the team continued to check in on winnies condition over the next few days, which i am very grateful for.

We love Hope Island Vet Surgery!!
We found their services after our Maltese cross schnauzer Oliver became ill all of a sudden and they were amazing with advice and guiding us through the changes. Unfortunately, we had to make the hard decision to say good bye to our little man and the Staff and Vet Dr Christine went above and beyond to take care and give us the time with him.
We have since welcomed a Cavoodle Max to our family and we haven’t hesitated in taking him for all of his initial check ups. Which, again, has been a pleasant and informative with every visit.
Would definitely recommend Hope Island Vet Surgery to any animal lover!!

From our very 1st visit when Tyson was only 7 weeks old through to puppy school and now being treated for ED I can not speak highly enough. Amazing vet clinic, staff are always friendly, very welcoming, and show compassion with your concerns. Kath and the clinic nurses go above and beyond great services is always provided. Dr Rory also a pleasure to deal with he is very thorough and provides great communication with procedures and great follow up care , prices are very reasonable which is a bonus! Tyson and his humans give Hope Island Veterinary clinic all paws up!

Brought my little cavalier here for the first time this morning. We saw Dr. Z. who I thought was wonderful. He was very thoughtful and empathetic, and explained everything to me very clearly. It is nice not to be spoken down to by a health professional. Thank you Dr. Z. for helping me and Jax. It is greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back if (or more likely WHEN lol) other issues arise. 😊🐶

Highly recommend Dr Rory. I am so happy he has moved over from Broadbeach where he initially treated my then newly acquired rescue many years ago. The lovely assistant staff at Hope Island Veterinary Surgery have always looked after my dog for many years keeping her in top shape and always willing to provide advice for her wellbeing without excessive testing. Now with Dr Rory having moved to the Hope Island location I feel confident my dog is also under the best surgical care when needed.

The team at Hope Island Vet are truly caring and empathetic. I had the lovely Lotti sit eith me as l let my beautiful boy Cruze cross the rainbow bridge. He was 16 yrs old and letting him go was very difficult but Lotti's care helped immensely. We now have Dr Christne Looking after our little Charlie with his worsening heart health. She is guiding us in keeping him as happy and painfree as possible. Cannot recommend this Practice highly enough. Above and beyond has been my experience.

I can’t recommend Hope Island Veterinary Surgery highly enough. We have had our puppy Iggy for about 3 months and have been looking for our forever vet. Look no further! Everything is so easy. Parking right out the front, lovely big waiting room and the best part? The staff! Everyone at the clinic is just as invested in our Iggy as we are. The kindness, empathy and time they give during a consult is so appreciated. We’ve not felt rushed or like we’ve asked silly questions. We are so grateful to our vets Corey, Christine and the whole team at Hope Island Veterinary. Saying goodbye to our beloved dog was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do, but the team made the experience as gentle and peaceful as possible.
Our dog’s final moments were calm, pain-free, and full of love. We will never forget the care they gave not only to our pet, but to us as well. Thank you for helping us through such a difficult time with so much dignity and understanding. 🙏🏼
