Lovely quiet spot. Great place for picnics! Has play equipment, fish feeding, water feature for kids, flying fox. There is also enough space that you can avoid people and enjoy some quiet time in nature reading a book. Tranquil, but fun. Good hiking trails and a spring.. It could do with a bit more love, I think. It would be great to see some swimming back at Howard Springs. Fish feeding pond looks pretty murky & heavy on algae, needs more fish to eat it? Birds were also very cute. It's definitely worth the short 20-minute drive. Lovely spot, would recommend for a visit. Take a picnic lunch.

This place is awesome! Kids loved it, we loved it, a definite must see. Lush green, walking trail (which was closed due to flooding 😭), plenty of bbqs, toddler pool, plenty of shade + gazebos, playground, lake with bridge, water fall, kids water play park and plenty of toilets. Go out of your way to see this area. Check all the photos out, they will show how awesome this place is. 5 stars definite, and it's free.

A must visit when visiting Darwin. There is a lovely park, playground and picnic tables near the water spring. The Spring itself is like an outdoor aquarium with different species of fish, turtles and snakes swimming in the water. There is also an easy bushwalk that you can do as well.

This place is great and I highly recommend you go and see it. It has shallow pools playground, BBQ's and seating. So green and lush. Don't forget to take some pilchards to feed the barra. So quiet and peaceful. Love this place.

What a pleasant surprise this reserve is even though being refurbished August 23. Lots of shade, wildlife such as birds and the huge Water Monitor lizard 🦎. We saw 3 of them. A great short bush trail as well and a place to have a dip (toddlers pool) which is pretty good Monday to Friday when kids are at school. Certainly worth the visit.

Lovely nature park, it's more of a kiddies pool area then a spring to relax in. Massive area for the pool, play equipment and picnic area.
A 2km nature walk around trail which was great- saw many wild animals
There's also a big lake with fish, can't swim in this one.
