I had an appointment at 4, reached the office around 3:55. There was only one lady and was really rude, asked me to wait. I told her that I have an appointment at 4 but since she was with another customer, I decided to wait. After waiting for another 30 mins, I asked her how much longer it was gonna take and she told me to wait for 30 mins more. If you’re not gonna see someone based on appointments, why even have an appointment system? I would have rather gone somewhere else. Also, the booking system suggests 30-45 mins per consultation, therefore I decided to book at 4 to get somewhere by 5, but looks like they take longer than the time frame as the customer before me was there for longer than the time frame they provided. Disappointed, wouldn’t recommend.

I have been using H&R Block for several years both when working and now in retirement. It's hard at times to understand the full implications that government policies have especially during tax time and how they affect one financially. H&R Block have through their expertise alleviated much of this anguish. They explain very simply how these policies effect one financially and the best course of action. I always feel a sense of relief and being more knowledgeable after each tax year meeting.

Absolutely appaueling service.
1st they dont do there job and call through to the tax department and chase anything up, you have to do it when they continually not reply to your emails or return phone calls when promised to do so.
2nd its been over 7 weeks and still no tax return and they cant tell either my partner or i, why.
3rd. If they feel pressured by questions relating to this file, they hang up and refuse to answer the phone.
4th. There add says 2 weeks, but after you sign they notify you 21 days.. or when they are contacted in relation to your account no one writes handy notes on what they are doing, who previously dealt with it or anything. Then when you explain whats happening you have to repeat yourself 300 times cause they cant understand what you are saying..
5th.. when you ask to speak to a manager you are referred to an email address and still abaolutely no response..

Also highest refund is bull, as we recently decided to test the accuracy and applied to an online instant tax service where we were quoted $8,782 compared to $5,235 that H&R block were able to offer. Should of shopped around before signing!!!!

Their workshop is a money making trick. I don't understand why students pay for workshop and later get rejected. They should offer annual free workshop and pick the best students who have achieved their required marks to do their seasonal works.

Save yourself the visit - you're better off doing it yourself. Really good experiences with H&R Block interstate so particularly disappointing.
