Booked my appointment 2 weeks ago with someone from the call centre for a company, got an email that stated it was for a Sole trader / Partnership. I then called kwinana H&R block to confirm if they could complete a Company tax return to which they confirmed they could. Got there this morning only to be told they can not do it and ill have to be referred to someone else. Absolutely wasted my time, would recommend finding a competent accountant that atleast knows what they can and cant do over the phone.

My appointment was 14th August, 2024. The return was completed 9th October, 2024. That was after:
1 visit
28 emails
5 phone calls (including two to the head office)
56 DAYS!
Only took them 2 days to give me the $612 bill though!!!

If I hadn't constantly contacted them asking for an update, I would still be waiting. Sarah-Jane has no idea what she's doing and Vanessa (the office manager), doesn't give a damn about her clients.

My complaint to the head office was received well and with sinscere apoloiges and a promise to investigate. They took $170 off the price. $440 for such unbeliveably terrible service? No thanks.

I will never darken the door of H&R Block Kwinana again.

Never again, went in to do my tax nearly two months ago, still haven't heard back.
kept ringing every week but just get fobbed off with excuses. over priced anyway.

I had a phone appointment booked for 1st thing 9am. By 9:15 I called stating i hadn't received a phone call and was advised that the staff member was running 30min late and would all at 09:45. By 10am I called them back stating I was expecting a call and was advised that she's still busy and would expect to be able to help me around 11:30am. "Satisfaction guaranteed" = failed. If an appointment is made I would expect a courtesy call to let me know. Not have to chase up and get poor service.

How fantastic! I just walked in off the street to see if I could make an appointment and H&R Block saw me right there in then I was welcomed by Angela a very professional kind and friendly woman who managed to get me an amazing return of $2600 I couldn’t ask for better timing as I have lots of household expenses and I’m just so grateful that H&R Block delivered such wonderful customer service!
