Edit: I just spoke with the call centre and they were no help. They couldn't explain why they overcharged me at all. Stay away from this thieves!

Just went in for a Standard Tax return and in the website it's $169 with a price list for extra's. My total with extras totals $178. This location charge me $189 with no explanation. Don't go to these thieves.

Took over 4 weeks. Apparently the accountant that was doing my return only works ‘part time’. This cost nearly $400! And I had already provided them with a very detailed spreadsheet. I could have just done this online for free in about 2 hours.

May I suggest that if you need extra documentation can you please ask for it during the initial consultation. After 2 weeks waiting I was told I needed extra documentation before they could even begin (which I provided immediately) two weeks later, I was asked for further information which absolutely could have been requested at the beginning.

Was finally sent a link to my tax docs but the portal ‘forgot password’ reset doesn’t work at all so I couldn’t review my tax return before payment. Despite this, I was firmly pushed for a payment.

There is no professionalism or value for money here. Go somewhere else. I certainly will be.

I always dread completing my tax returns and had put off doing them, so had 3 years to complete this time round. HR Block Queanbeyan made the process easy for me. The ReceiptHub App was easy to use and is a great way to store receipts for the tax year.

Can't have asked for better service from Lindsay. He is a genuine nice guy and great accountant who has helped me alot recently with some stuff i needed completed recently for a small business i own. See him or any of the guys for your tax needs.5 stars. Highly reccomended.

If I could have given a lower rating I would have. Very dissatisfied with the whole process of my phone appointment tax return this year. Has taken over a week to get any answers to why I wasn’t sent through any paperwork to sign off.

I tried emailing with no response and called just today to see what the hold up was. Was spoken to rudely by whomever answered the phone who kept trying to talk over me and kept repeating himself to check my junk mail which I already had checked. He couldn’t give an answer as to why it’s taken this long to send anything through. No apology or anything for the inconvenience caused. Nothing.

Shouldn’t we receive the same prompt service as we would if we attended in store for the same fee?

This isn’t the first time this has happened with waiting over a week to receive any correspondence. I recall this happening the last couple of years. I will remember for next year not to use your services again.

i had the worst experience in my phone consultation on the 4th of April 2023, prior to booking i had asked if i could talk to someone in regards to my less than 12 month business. During the appointment it went way faster than i anticipated with little to none of the info being absorbed, my business is very niche so a lot of the straight forward things are much more complicated and all i wanted was some help but i felt as if the accountant was putting me down for not being on top of it. This was the worst experience i have had in my time doing business.
