Honestly, if you’re going through a separation and considering mediation, I strongly recommend avoiding this place, particularly Douja Elhajj. When we attended shortly after our separation, we had no prior experience with mediation and didn’t know what to expect. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely negative. Douja escalated the conflict between us, acted unprofessionally, and created a tense environment. We were both yelled at, my ex was crying and she was still just going at her, I was even accused of lying. She refused to listen to me or hear my side of the story.

Thankfully, we later attended mediation with someone else, and the experience was completely different. It was calm, respectful, and productive. We were able to create a parenting plan in a supportive environment where everyone had the opportunity to speak and be heard without judgment or blame. Reflecting on our experience with Douja, I feel disappointed and disheartened. I would not recommend her services.
