An excellent library. There is often a JP there, and you can print pages for very little money. If you need to fax those pages it is done at no cost.

The staff are very friendly and cooperative, and deserve recognition for their attitude.

Staff are very helpful and library is very well stocked with books, videos, talking books etc.

Modern air-conditioned building with 100 solar panels on the roof which would enough to keep it well powered. Well done Inverell Council.

Local family history is available from the volunteers on Monday, Wednesday and Friday with great research material and information.

The volunteers are terrific and will assist you with your ancestral knowledge.

Inverell is a small city and lacks things to enjoy. However, there are many books in the library and they are well run, so I have received a lot of help during the months when I live in Inverell. This library is not as large as the other big city's, but it is about the size of a typical local library. I was also able to use the membership as a foreigner because I only had to prove that the person lived in Inverell to join the library. Computer facilities are also well equipped, and due to the lack of time limit, it is appropriate to visit for simple paperwork. (In other local libraries previously used, computer use time was limited from 30 minutes to an hour, but I remember that it was not difficult to use it for about two hours. Also, Wi-Fi works well. As far as I know, there don't seem to be many cultural facilities in Inverell, but it was good enough as the library. Also, the staff working in the library was very kind, so I always answered well when I joined the library and inquired about the use, and I was always thankful that I always gave more information than I expected.
