The villa was absolutely amazing! So well equipped, with everything you could possibly want. So clean, totally spotless. So comfortable, in the lounge-room, kitchen and bedroom, and on the spacious balcony with its stunning views. The managers, Leisl and Leo, do a wonderful job, in a quiet and unobtrusive way. They are friendly, welcoming and helpful, with a wealth of local knowledge which they are only too happy to share. Nothing is too much trouble for them! A wonderful place waiting for you to savour!

We recently stayed at Island Villas on Thursday Island and were extremely happy with everything, booking, check in, the Villa was very well equipped in the kitchen, the main bedroom was a good size and the ensuite was perfect. We only spent one night but could have stayed longer it was so nice. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the noise the air con made in the bedroom that night, it kept going on and off and making a terrible noise, so I turned it off and put the fan on and then the blinds started rattling so I had to put pillows against them. Didn't get a lot of sleep unfortunately, but otherwise the Villa was lovely accommodation and we met the owners who were very nice and got us into the Villa as soon as they could which was very appreciative. Thursday Island is a very interesting place to visit?

The Island Villas where brilliant. We spent 3 weeks all told there & were impressed by the cleanliness of the villa, the layout was very good. A great place to come home to after work & chill out. It was close to all amenities, has a very good laundry and the kitchen had mostly adequate kitchenware for our needs. The best place to stay on Thursday Island by far. Congratulations to Anne, Tara & their cleaning crew for a terrific place to stay.

Being met at the ferry by the friendly faces of Leo and Liesl set the tone for the rest of our stay. The villa was so comfortable and it was in a great location, just one block back from the main street. Being able to sit outside at night was so relaxing. The perfect place to stay.

My dad and I stayed in the villa’s two bedroom villa on John Street Thursday Island for one weekend. We were collected at the wharf and driven to our amazing villa. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge, kitchen, laundry, big deck with bbq and water views. The villa is within walking distance of everything and we did not use any of the transport services offered by the ferry company it was so easy to walk to the jetty. The villa would be fantastic if you were staying for a week or maybe re it was so roomy. Easy to book, easy to collect the hey and flexible with our check out time, not to mention you can get into your room as soon as you get off the ferry at 11am. Would strongly recommend, worth every cent.

Great accommodation, comfortable, clean and has everything you need - we appreciated having a laundry. The pick-up from the ferry was also very much appreciated. The view was an added bonus - would recommend this accommodation and hope we can return some day.

Very clean, modern and comfortable accommodation. Courtesy pick up from the ferry. Self catering with plenty of kitchen ware. Easy walk to shops and hotels, wonderful views of other Islands. Outdoor deck with BBQ supplied. 2 bedroom, 2 Bathroom with tropical decor along with Wi Fi. Would stay again .

Stayed at Island Villas in August for 2 days as part of a Australian Air Safaris Tour to Cape York. Standard of accomodation was exceptional. Very close to all amenities, and couldnt have asked for anything better
