I had the pleasure of working with Zein at Jaber Engineering Consultancy to get my turbo Barra-swapped GU Patrol engineered, and I couldn’t be more stoked with how it went. From the first conversation right through to the final sign-off, he was professional, clear, and genuinely helpful every step of the way.

He walked me through the requirements, gave honest feedback where needed, and helped make sure everything was done by the book—but without making it feel like a battle. Even when it came to the scarier parts (looking at you, LG5 brake test), he kept things calm and made the whole process way less stressful than I expected.

If you’re looking for an engineer who knows their stuff, communicates well, and actually wants to see your build succeed, I can’t recommend Jaber Engineering Consultancy enough.

Zein just finished up engineering my import Honda S2000 and not only was it WAY easier than I thought it would be, the entire process was seamless and genuinely enjoyable.

Communication was top notch from the first phone call through to the final sign off today, couldn't be happier with the service - legitimately a great bloke.

I had reimported my car from NZ and was told by VicRoads that I needed a VASS certificate. I contacted Zein at Jaber Engineering to get the process started. Instead of simply going ahead with the job, Zein took it upon himself to dig deeper and research why I was being asked for a VASS, especially since nothing on the car had been modified.

What followed was a lesson in integrity: Zein genuinely questioned VIC Roads whether I should even have to pay for a certificate unnecessarily. He went above and beyond, sending emails and making phone calls on my behalf to clarify the situation and guide me through the process.

It’s rare to find someone who leads with this level of honesty and professionalism. Zein didn’t just save me time and money, he showed he was at the top end of expertise, honesty and humanity.
