This is a lovely spot for fishing and picnics. The nearby local shops make it easy to grab some food. There are designated parking lots, although they can be crowded, but street parking is also an option. One of the highlights is the ability to rent a small boat for fishing without needing a license - it's a great feature! Overall, it's a wonderful place to spend a weekend with family. I'll definitely be back!

I done an all-day kayak from the boat ramp all the way around the islands while fishing. The surrounding waters offer an abundance of bait fish and many different species of fish to catch from bream and flathead, and if you travel down the small water channels, there are plenty of mud crab and cat fish. If you head further out to the ocean entrance and head to the deeper waters after catching some bait fish, you will be able to fish for and catch snapper. The wildlife and views are very gorgeous. It's definitely a great place to fish and kayak as the waters can be very calm on your good days, and there aren't many jet ski heroes out there as there are at other places. There are plenty of bites and catches on soft plastics and lures with some scent on them. You just have to be more patient. Would recommend fresh baits. Definitely check it out it's an amazing place, especially if you have a boat. They also have plenty of parking, a bait shop right at the boat ramp, and also a boat hire place that you don't need a boat license for as the engines are 6hp, I believe. Fantastic boating facility. Lots of trailer parking and a good sized double boat ramp. Also has two piers to fish from and great access to upper Broadwater and lower Moreton islands.

Great boat ramp. There is a bait and tackle shop next to the ramp that also sells food and coffee. Tavern is across the road from the boat ramp car park. Public toilets available.
The only really really ANNOYING thing is cars without boat trailers on parking in the boat trailer only car parks. Park on the street if you don’t have a boat trailer on.

Easy access, good parking. Sea Rescue office and launch adjacent. The caravan and camping site is opposite the boat launch. Toilets and swim area are also present. There are bbq facilities.

Wow, this place has grown with the population growing. Still a beautiful spot with great amenities, including a tidal pool area.
Great place to bring the family, have a BBQ, and enjoy a swim, boating, and so much more.

A very well planned out boat ramp. Easy flow of traffic, plenty of parking too. Neat and tidy amenities. There was a very unpleasant smell coming from the bins, however.
