My daughter was a client of James Law and they will have my name on file as I was involved as POA. Leah and Jackie were pleasant enough and appeared to know what they were talking about, however as the case progressed we felt very concerned, let down and unsupported - with my daughter’s and our concerns continuously dismissed and our expectations lessened as time went on. Once the OT report came in, we knew we were in serious trouble and that this firm was not going to fight for my daughter’s future. We changed lawyers immediately and then realised how completely incompetent James Law had been. We are so thankful we followed our instinct and concerns. I did recommend this law firm, until it came time to pay me and the disaster that ensued!

I was told multiple different stories over many weeks regarding the transfer (None of them plausibe). I run a business and work with national and international transfer, so the stories I was being told were not adding up!
I was told that I was entitled to significant compensation, which in the end I didn't get, the solicitors got signficantly more then me.
Whilst I must admit that throughout the process,I thought I was in good hands. Up until the point it came time to pay me ..after weeks of being given the run around with the transfer.
Within 24 hours of me involving the law society...the miraculous payment that had been transferred to a wrong account appeared....!
After it had taken multiple emails, phone calls as something just didn't feel right and the stories I was being told was even more concerning because they were in plausible.
Isn't it just amazing that it took me involving the law society to get paid!!!! Not only was a victim of my road accident and a lifelong dissability from that accident. I was a victim of having to fight with this law firm to get paid. No one should have to go to the law society to get a payment they are entitled too from their solicitor.
