Absolutely abhorrent level of service and communication. Ms. Bourke repeatedly showed callous disrespect for my own time and basic dignity. No time or attention was given to my case before or even during consultation. She repeatedly talked over me and explained over and over how busy she was while cancelling appointments she had made. She would also repeatedly behave in very strange ways, including abruptly cancelling appointments, offering a day to reschedule but with no time, then refusing to respond in any way to actually rebook the appointment; or calling me out of the blue and expecting me to be available for an appointment on the spot. Office staff also advised that they do not have access to her calendar when she repeatedly rescheduled appointments at the last minute, while declining to pass along any messages to her. This is equally bizarre and unprofessional. In conversation, she talked over me constantly and was both rude and completely unaccommodating of disability. I have never seen a legal professional behave so poorly while claiming to act on behalf of vulnerable people. I also have no doubt that she will write off this review as a disgruntled person who "wasn't told what they wanted to hear", which could not be further from the truth. In fact, my entire time was spent desperately trying to use my time productively, but failing due to Ms. Bourke's inappropriate and unprofessional behaviour.
