The accommodation was neat and tidy, with basic amenities but no Wi-Fi. However, our mood was dampened when we were charged additionally for using another blanket and linen from a different bed, despite the number of guests stated during booking being accurate. The terms and conditions stated the number of guests. It would be clearer if they stated "number of guests = number of beds used." We would not visit again.

We stayed at the Dhufish cottage. The units are getting on in age, but are still good quality
The only suggestion I would make is to have extra power points in bedrooms.
In spite of the age, and the power points - Value for money compared to the new chalets behind - (beloning the same company), are FANTASTIC value for money.
I hope that these older units don't replaced too quickly.

Location is fantastic and they have everything you need. The units aren't too bad, very dated though. The couch wasn't very comfy but the bed was and everything was clean. Units could use a paint job. Could see the new units at the back though so maybe it's a work in progress. Good for the price

We stayed here for 2 nights. The location is perfect - only 300 steps to the beach, where there was no other soul in sight. It was also an easy walk to the town, shops and tavern.
Be prepared to be transported back to the 1950s as the accommodation is very dated, but it's clean with almost everything you need.
Limited power points mean no bedside lamps and the indoor seating was uncomfortable ... rattan furniture with a hard board under the cushions.
Despite the above comments, I'd definitely stay there again.
4 stars is slightly generous because we really enjoyed the stay, if 3½ stars was an option, that's where I'd place it, but giving only 3 stars would have been mean.

These units are totally misrepresented online, they are actually owned and managed by new people who plan to knock them down at the end of the year. The units were dirty and were falling apart. I understand letting the general upkeep go to a certain extent, as they're getting demolished. However, with the fridge leaking, mould in the bathroom, lino floors pulling up and skirting boards cracking, this place was just a joke.

My bed sheets had stains, we had to move the table to be able to use it and underneath hadn't been cleaned, between the stove and kitchen cupboards had cooking stains and the couch had food stains. The excuse was that 'we only have between 10am and 2pm to clean' and 'we have asked for a new fridge' and 'i've tried washing the couch cushions but the covers are hard to get off'.

The front veranda had sand/dirt all over it and the outdoor setting was very basic.

The hot water only lasted one shower, there were two of us needing showers so mine was cold.

There are no PowerPoints in any of the bedrooms.

Paying $165/night for dirty and run down accommodation is an utter disgrace and should not be allowed.

I would appreciate a refund for at least one of the two nights we stayed as I can tell you the sleep was less than restful.

Cheap clean affordable budget accommodation. 2 bedrooms lots of beds. Comfortable couch with dining table and chairs.
Kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a short stay.
Washing machine available in bathroom and very hot water in the shower.
They are not 5 star and not new by any means but they are suitable and do the job.
Close to town and beach. Can’t see the beach from the patio but 3 minute walk and you are there.
Close to new skate park, jetty, playground and basketball court.
I would stay there again for a short stay.

The units have a fantastic location, right on the beach and easy walking distance to everything in town. The units are pretty old and dated and could do with a makeover, but they are decent enough and if you have people in both bedrooms, the price is fine. Everything you need to self-cater is available in the unit. You should note that there is no service during your stay and there are no power outlets in the bedrooms and no wifi available. The lack of wifi is really unforgivable in 2019! The check-in and out is smooth and easy via a key-safe and there is on-site parking for each unit.

Very old Property is clean and has most things you need. No hot water over basin. No WIFI.
Inside it's like 1950's I don't think it's worth $150.
Asked during booking that we wanted unit with water views..."all units have water views" was the reply....however , reality is that you need a ladder to get onto the roof to get water views !!
Avoid.
