We bring both of our dogs here, and I also bring wildlife in that I am caring for (as needed). The vets and nursing staff are fantastic, friendly, know their stuff and are make it a very safe and welcoming place for the pets. Very happy to bring our fur babies here.

Very poor grooming service, avoid at all cost, I will have to get my dog clipped properly when we get to Darwin next week
At $281 for a very basic clip of my border collie this is the most expensive grooming in Australia by at least double. This includes Alice Springs, Darwin and Broome where she has been done.
Claimed she was washed but still dirty, she was dehydrated and drank half a litre of water when we got home, sanitary areas not clipped.
Worst grooming experience ever.

As a veterinary nurse myself with very high standards, my worst fear came true when my dog developed GDV 3500kms from home on a family roadtrip. As a quickly escalating, potentially fatal condition I had no choice but to rush her to Katherine Veterinary Clinic (whom I didn't know from a bar of soap) about half an hour before close.
They had no hesitation accepting us and taking her straight to after hours emergency surgery, and recovering her for the days following.
Every staff member I spoke to was so kind and helpful, and made me feel much more at ease in such a scary situation - I can't appreciate their services enough.

The team at the clinic were extremely friendly, professional and answered all of our questions in depth. The clinic's response time to our call for help while passing through town was quick and we were put at ease by their thorough consultation and the knowledge of the veterinarian.

I would highly recommend this clinic as they have done a fantastic job looking after our 2yr old Standard poodle.
