Lovely, professional receptionists, and my Dr is kind, easy to talk to, very knowlegable and i saw results on some long term issues within a few weeks of seeing her!

Dr Chantel Young is absolutely amazing. It’s been a lot of years since I’ve had a doctor who is actually attentive and genuinely interested and focused on understanding you and working through your issues. She is proactive and on the ball, so sweet and kind and extremely knowledgeable. The reception staff were also so lovely and welcoming. I can’t recommend Dr Young and Kilcoy General Practice enough.

Dr. Michael and the admin staff are the best. The wait times can be longish, BUT this is no the doing of the practice, rather the nature of a rural community with less resources than it needs. They are professional, friendly, discreet and compassionate. Best GP I’ve ever had. No disrespect to Dr. Cynthia from Brisbane who was also awesome.

Excellent doctors, Mark supported me through my chemotherapy, always reassuring, answering all my questions I'm forever grateful.
I see Dr Michael a lot now. He is awesome, explains everything, very thorough, excellent doctors both if them, highly recommended.

Has to be up there as one of the best regional Medical Centres available. I have always found them to be courteous, punctual and very friendly. The one and only time my appointment has been delayed because of an emergency, the friendly staff contacted me and explained there was a 30 minute delay with the doctor. 30 minutes ? the previous surgery I used for many years would have delays up to 3 hours and wouldn't notify you.
The Kilcoy General Surgery leads the rest by leaps and bounds.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT PRACTICE BEFORE REVIEWING!
There are 2 medical practices here in Kilcoy (Kilcoy General Practice- this one, and Kilcoy Medical Centre- The other one) and I have noticed that some people are giving bad reviews to the incorrect practice.
I am Bias as I am receptionist here at Kilcoy General Practice but before I was a receptionist this was my GP. 5 stars to all Doctors and staff. All patients are given equitable care. Sometimes there can be a wait but I'm yet to find a Doctor that has no waiting period. All patients are welcome and encouraged to call prior to their appointments to check on waiting time before leaving home.

Dr Michael was brilliant. Not sure why all these people are moaning about waiting times. Go to ANY medical practice and you will have to wait. That's just how it is, and it's the same the world over.
