Lauren was sooo helpful with my divorce proceedings. At every step of the way, Lauren advised, helping me recognise the pluses and minuses of my divorce journey.

Sometimes it took a little while for her to reply to my emails, and I was peeved. But then it eventually dawned on me (my friends don’t call me Sparky for nothing) that she was being the exact sort of lawyer I wanted and needed. I think my jokes are hilarious, but even my friends roll their eyes and smile politely. Lauren wasn’t ignoring me, or avoiding talking with me because she couldn’t stand my jokes; instead, she knew I wasn’t as rich as a Packer and so held any billable interactions to their absolute minimum, saving me valuable dollars I didn’t have.

In the end, my ex and I couldn’t agree on a suitable settlement figure. I wanted to take my ex to court, but Lauren correctly advised me that the court costs (I would have to pay my own costs) would swallow up any likely increased settlement. So court was not a sensible option for me, no matter how strong my feelings.

Throughout my journey I found Lauren to be friendly, caring, and totally professional. I cannot rate her and her service highly enough.

I even redid my will and my Power of Attorney with her, that’s how much I thought of her service.
