Beware. WARNING. WARNING. This solicitor was paid a substantial amount by a gambler to ‘witness’ the signature his 84 year old mother in final stage dementia. This resulted in a $465,000 reverse mortgage being put on her house by said son. Her family has no recourse because the lawyer said she “appeared sound at the time” despite her signatures being back to front.

Update:
The unscrupulous solicitor is still practising in the Eastern suburbs. The gambler, on the other hand, has blown the $465,000 away in various pubs in the Eastern Suburbs and at at the Casino.
